There’s a lot of stress in your life when you’re a parent. Some things, however, are more stressful than others. What’s the one thing that takes the cake, you ask? Well, aside from bedtime, mornings, long afternoons, grocery shopping, and going to the park, the single most stressful thing that you can do with your child is go out to eat.

Kids are picky, loud, and messy — all three things that are heavily frowned upon at restaurants. If at all possible, you should avoid taking your kids to any kind of restaurant whatsoever until they’re at least eighteen.


Before that age, going out to eat with them is basically unbearable, a form of torture for yourself and everyone around you.
